Jason Bonney enlisted in the United States Navy at the San Diego, CA MEPS Center, as a Hospital Corpsman, on August 17th, 1997. Throughout his career in the United States Navy he has held multiple positions within the Hospital Corpsman field, Basic Hospital Corpsman, Fleet Marine Force Corpsman, Psychiatric Technician, and Surface Force Independent Duty Corpsman. His duty stations were Great Lakes ILL, 2nd Marine Division, Camp Lejeune NC, Naval Air Facility, El Centro CA, Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune, Camp Lejeune NC, and Naval Health Clinic Corpus Christi, TX. He was honorably discharged from the United States Navy in March 1st, 2010.
On March 5th, 2010 he enlisted into the United States Army Reserves from San Antonio, Texas. He attended Warrior Transition Course at Fort Sill, Oklahoma and earned his Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) of (88N) Transportation Management Coordinator. He was attached to the 453 Det 1 out of Corpus Christi TX, In March 2011, he attended Army Recruiter Course and converted into the MOS of 79R. He was assigned to Clarksville Company as an Active Guard Reserve Recruiter; his next assignment was San Antonio East Recruiting Company. As an Army Recruiter he has held Assistant Station Commander, Station Commander, and Master Resilience Trainer.
After 21 years of honorable service to his country he retired from Active Duty on January 1st, 2019 and joined TruOrtho as their Practice Manager. He earned his BS of Science in Healthcare Administration from SUNY-Empire State College and MS of Science in Healthcare Administration from Grand Canyon University.
