Dr. Lynch’s academic journey was marked by dedication and determination. After completing medical school, she embarked on a residency program at Northwestern University, an institution known for producing top-tier medical professionals. Here, she not only sharpened her surgical skills but also deepened her understanding of orthopaedic medicine. However, it was her fellowship in Sports Medicine at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak Michigan where she cared for the Detroit Lions, that marked a significant turning point in her career. Specializing in the treatment of shoulder and sports-related surgeries, Dr. Lynch deepened her expertise, laying the foundation for her future contributions to the field. 

A Leader in Orthopaedic Organizations 

Beyond her surgical talents, Dr. Lynch plays a pivotal role in advocating for patient safety and excellence in orthopaedics. She is an active member of several prestigious organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES), the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM), and the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA). Her involvement in these organizations underscores her commitment to staying at the forefront of orthopedic advancements.

Dr. Lynch’s contributions to orthopaedic surgery extend to the establishment of TruOrtho, an all-women orthopaedic practice in San Antonio, Texas. As a co-founder, she played a pivotal role in creating a practice dedicated to providing exceptional orthopaedic care, emphasizing patient-centered treatment delivered by highly skilled female orthopaedic surgeons.
